Recommended Chain length for children: 14 inch +2 inch extender (16 inches total).

Recommended chain length for adults: 16 inch +2 inch extender (18 inches total)

Recommended chain length for older adults& those with a heavy neck/ chest: 18inch+ 2inch extender (20 inches total).
